Why Raditz Lied to Everyone

We know Raditz was a saiyan and also the elders brother of Goku, we saw Raditz in Dragon Ball Z season 1, when Goku didn't know about himself and his saiyan ansestors.
Raditz came into Kame's house and tell everyone that Goku's real name is Kakarot and he was sended to claim planet Earth.
But as far as we saw the latest Dragon Ball Broly movie that Goku's parents send him to save his life from Frieza, there was no perpus to destroy planet Earth.

Reason Behind Raditz's lies

But why Raditz lied to everyone?
Well in that time in DBZ season 1, Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta they were working under Frieza force and they also didn't know that Frieza is the one who destroyed planet Vegeta years ago.

They just knows that Frieza is the most powerful monster in the universe, which is why if they refuse to serve then, Frieza will kill them.
The only reason Raditz lied to everyone because he wanted Goku to join Frieza force because he is a pure blooded saiyan just like his brother Raditz.
